Description: Building footprints for the GW topographic basemap were generated, with exceptions noted below, by drawing the outline of around the building shown on the aerial imagery for the summer of 2013.Footprints were generated for: Masterton, Carterton, Greytown, Featherston, Martinborough, Castlepoint, Riversdale, Flat Point, Mauriceville, Tinui, Lake Ferry, Cape Palliser, Mangatoetoe, Ngawi, South Featherston and Gladstone.Featherston building footrprints were created by running an image classification and processing out false positive sections.Masterton building footprints for south of the Ruamahanga River were previously generated by Flood Protection.Data is accurate for Summer of 2013. Updates are required for successive aerial imagery deliveries.
